    Excellent food and service. Very authentic! This is a newer restaurant and they are making every effort to please. Very nice inside area and there be outside seating once it warms up.

    Just discovered this place and you can count me as a new fan. Was expecting to be underwhelmed, but just the opposite! Had the pierogi sampler (liked the "Cabbage Sauerkraut mushroom Onion" the best) and the "Seattle Dog"...all delicious and reasonably priced. The interior is pleasant, plus there's a cozy outdoor patio, weather permitting. The staff was welcoming and attentive, so this will become a new fave. Definitely worth a quick detour off the I-5 on your way north or south. Will probably upgrade this to five stars after eating through more of the menu...

    This type of food is my heritage. It was a treat to find this restaurant. House made polish sausage was wonderful. Stuffed cabbage was terrific. Pierogies tasted like Grandmas. Don't miss this one.

    We had a very good meal. My wife grew up eating Polish cooking and this just like home cooking. Everything is fresh and made on site. The owner spent some time with us and gave us and answered all of our question. It was a great evening and we will be back.

    Our monthly dinner club (6 people) dined here on St. Paddy's day.

    Reservations were easy to make online. Communication was seamless via email with Sara. Our reservations were honored without any hiccups.

    Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Tabs were easily and correctly split.

    The first thing that I noticed as I entered Polska was the cleanliness. The pride and joy reflects through the sparkle throughout this entire restaurant.

    Although Polska serves Polish fare, Polska was offering fun St. Paddy's day drinks. Way to be in the spirit Polska!

    For drinks we ordered:
    A bottle of Sophia Cabernet Sauvignon (Bulgarian) for $19 a bottle.
    Pounders of ywiec for $5.25 each which were colored green for St. Paddy's day.
    A bottle of Grand Imperial Porter for $6.50.
    Honeydew Martini's for $7.50 each.
    Espressos for $1.25 each.

    For our food we ordered:
    Pierogi A la Carte (qty 4) appetizer for $6: we chose one Beef & Onion, one Cabbage, Kraut, Mushroom & Onion and two Potato Cheese Onion. We both enjoyed all the dumpling flavors but our favorite were the Potato Cheese Onion.

    My wife ordered the Kielbasa and Plaki for $13:50: smoked sausage, potato cakes (qty 2), and a sauerkraut salad. My wife was happy with her meal choice and enjoyed everything she ate.

    I ordered the Golabki for $14.25: Beet Soup, Cabbage Roll (qty 1), Buttered Potatoes and Beet Salad. Savored each and every bite! Each bite brought back fond memories of my childhood.

    For dessert we ordered the Irish Apple Cake for $6:25: a nice moist spice cake with the addition of tender juicy apples.

    Service was stellar right from the start and continued throughout our whole dining experience. Suggestions were easily offered as well as provided when we asked. We were treated with smiles and friendly laughter from our server as well as from the owners (both qualities are priceless).

    Thank you Polska Kuchnia for offering such a warm dining experience to our sinner group. We all look forward to returning in the future. The pride given is felt through the welcoming hospitality and delicious food!

    My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here today. My husband is of Lithuanian descent and remarked that the food remonded him of sitting in his grandma's kitchen. Excellent homemade food. Definitely worth the drive. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

    We stopped for lunch, and although I read the menu prior, I had no idea our meal was going to be Fantastic! They offered hot spiced wine or hard cider when we sat down. Coming in from the cold after a full day of hiking at pilchuck the wine and cider were perfect! I had a Mushroom barley soup that was made with homemade chicken broth. This too hit the spot! Typically I find restaurants soups too salty for my taste but their's was perfectly balanced. My other two companions had the borscht. I stole a taste and if you love beets like we do you are going to be in heaven! I had the chicken, which is flattened and then butter mixed with herbs and I think lemon is wrapped in the middle and then fried. It was beautiful and crispy on the outside and buttery tender in the middle. It came with buttered potatoes that were beyond just "buttered potatoes"! Also a lovely simple beet salad that made the meal even more perfect! My buds had the cabbage roll and the pork cutlet of which they both raved about. We shared the crepes and cheesecake. I am not a cheesecake fan but I would go back and order this one and eat it all to myself! The chef came to our table and shared her Iris soda bread that she was perfecting for St patricks day asking our opinion. It was really good.. Of course... But how often do you have that kind of experience in a restaurant?! Everyone was so nice and relaxed. It was warm and comfortable... I know I don't have to say "I will be back". If this place was in Seattle I would be a regular!

    Dora was our server, service was spot on. Entries were delicious. Ambience was comfy/homey. We pick a restaurant to meet every month with 3 other couples, good friends. This is one I'd recommend out of the several we've experienced. Love this place.

    Rare Polish restaurant with authentic menu. Service was fast and attentive. I only wish my bowl of borscht was deeper! This would be a fun place to stop for a dinner for 2 because I think many of the items are best to be shared. I also appreciate that Polish beer and Bulgarian wines are offered.

    Without a doubt you have to try this place. It is all hand, home made authentic Polish food. I was raised on Polish food on the east coast and this place is like my Mom would make.
    A MUST. Try the Periogie, and Pigs in a blanket!

    This place is a wonderful and truly great dining experience. We found this place, whilst on Camano island and we were amazed. I am of Polish descent and was brought up eating this type of food. Sarah and her husband have the presentation and taste nailed down. We had pierogi and to my amazement I was taken back to fond memories eating this wonderful Polish traditional dish. The best on the west coast and better than both Chicago and Toronto and equal to my mothers pierogi. The pork cutlet and bigosz were equally as well prepared. I felt both my mamusia (mother) and babcia (grandmother) were there overseeing the operation. The biggest surprise was the dessert. Cheese filled crepes and sernik just like home. This restaurant is a must as a culinary experience. It truly was a Polish dining event

    It's a good sign when the restaurant is full at 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon!

    They serve great, homemade Polish food at reasonable prices. The pierogis with cabbage, sauerkraut, mushroom, and onion were my favorite. The golabki (cabbage roll), kielbasa (sausage), and surowka (pickled and flavored salad) were tasty too.

    The food is not Americanized (e.g. no sour cream) so you don't walk out feeling like a beached whale; instead, there is a focus on the quality of the ingredients and the flavors.

    Excellent food made from scratch! We had the Bigos and Kotlet Mielony and both were delicious! They also have frozen kielbasa sausage and perogis you can take home. The outdoor seating was perfect with both sun and shade options and a water bowl for dogs. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant!

    Super cute authentic Polish restaurant! Found this place while searching for unique cuisine in my new neighborhood. It's run by a couple, and everything is made from scratch! My boyfriend and I ordered kielbasa, perigees, potato pancakes with sauerkraut and warm beet soup. Everything was so fresh and delicious; definitely satisfied my hunger for my culture's food. Highly recommended if seeking a taste of something different. We will be back :)

    What in the world is a Polish restaurant doing in Stanwood? Just serving up some excellent homemade authentic Polish fare. I spent a number of years in the second largest Polish populated city in the world (Chicago) eating some of the best and this place ranks right up there with them.
    We had several different items and sides. Everything was top notch, absolutely everything.
    This is the type of place that needs to get better known and develop a steady clientele. It is kind of hidden away but needs a spotlight on it so we may enjoy this gem for many years.

    Fantastic food, excellent service, beautiful setting! We enjoyed a family dinner here and everyone was happy. Freshly made with highest quality ingredients. Perfect portions. Plan to come back next time we are in Stanwood.

    Finally got to try this little gem. They are only open Thursday- Sunday but mentioned that they are working on adding Wednesday as well. You enter through the deck area which is brand new and inviting. A great space for an outdoor meal or drinks and apps. The inside decor is very warm with wood tables and some covered with white clothes, very nice juxtaposition. Fresh flowers etc complete a very inviting dining atmosphere. Ordered the Pierogi z Biala Kielbasa which was a perfect portion for a late lunch. 4 mid size pierogies stuffed with potato cheese and onion and cabbage sauerkraut mushroom and onion. I liked the size, the amount of stuffing and the texture. We have made pierogies for generations and these were delicious. The Kielbasa came with horesradish and ground mustard. Nice crisp skin with a distinctive mild flavor. Very enjoyable, could easily eat a plate of these. Loved that the horseradish was real and not sauce.
    I have travelled through Poland and spent time working there and enjoyed the memories that the Zywiec beer brought. Also tried the Grand Imperial Porter which has coffee accents and is very drinkable. Highly recommend. All in all one of the better meal experiences I have had this summer.

    What a lovely little find! Everything tastes like your Polish bubbie would have made for you. I had the borscht and hubby had the dill pickle soup. Both were very tasty. I had a nice order of pierogi - 4 to an order & you can mix the fillings, which were meat, chicken or cheese with potato. It came with homemade sausage & a sauerkraut/ carrot salad. Hubby had a delicious, crispy chicken stuffed with spinach served with dill potato. Service was fast & amicable, price in line with the quality of the food. Top notch! I only wish there was a restaurant like this close to my home!

    My husband & I along with 2 of our friends had dinner here last Friday night & absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was well-prepared, fresh & delicious. Two of us had the cabbage roll & they were delicious. I can't remember what our friends ordered. The beet soup was delicious as was the cheesecake. We all appreciated that this was food that was freshly made--unlike most restaurants today. The staff were friendly & competent. We will definitely return.

    Had a really lovely lunch here the other day. Quite enjoyed the homemade lemonade that was nice and sour, not too sweet. And the pierogi were scrumptious! I'd love to know where the source their kielbasa from, it was really good, too!

    Probably the best food in Washington let alone incredibly authentic Polish food. High quality meats (everything made in house!), high quality environment, with very reasonable prices. The food came out quick. The cold beer soup will knock your socks off. The owners (husband and wife) came out to chat with us. They make and smoke their sausages in house. The service was perfect. Why come to Stanwood or drive through Washington and not eat here? This is a must for hungry travelers.

    Very rare treat for authentic Polish food. It takes one to know one, being Polish, we are very judgmental of food:) the cook is actually American, married to Polish co-owner and she painstakingly translated recipes and created wonderful traditional Polish dishes.
    The decor is simple, location is bit far away but it's still worth it. The portions are rather small and if you ever wonder if the price is still worth it - consider this: all the sausages are made and smoked by the owner, the pierogis are hand made right there. Even cheese is hand made out of milk since the true equivalent of Polish "twarog" (white cottage like cheese) does not exist in America.
    The result is that you will have a piece of cheesecake like you have never tasted before.
    I really respect that the owners are brave enough to continue providing such a depth of quality instead of taking shortcuts.
    BTW, you can also ask to purchase frozen handmade sausage or pierogis to take home.

    So to start out very cute place. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Next the food, If you like European type food, you'll love this. We started with a bowl of cold Borscht. It was very very good. Next I had a stuffed cabbage roll and a side of smoked kielbasa. I'd been craving cabbage rolls for ever, that craving has been very happily satisfied. The kielbasa will make you not want to have one from a grocery store ever again. I will most definitely be coming back here.

    My husband and I dropped in for Lunch and enjoyed a lovely meal. He has Pierogi & Kielbasa combination. I had the Placki - Potato Pancakes with Crackling and Mushrooms. My hubby enjoyed the Grand Imperial Porter beer and we shared a nice Sernik (cheesecake) with Blueberry sauce. The Cheesecake was a little on the dry side -not quite as moist as we like - we like dense which it was, but also moist. I would recommend to anyone that wants wholesome food. They let us sample the borscht and the barley soups. I like my borscht better - mine is more thick with yogurt in it, but all was tasty. Prices were right!

    Very delicious food. Smaller portioned perogies. Only open on weekends and they run out of items fast. Down to last 12 perogies when we ordered. I hope they continue to do well. We will be back.

    At last! A great place to eat in Stanwood. Loved every bite, and the check was a whole lot less than I thought it would be. I'm so glad we don't have to drive into Seattle to have a great dining experience. We'll be back. Goes without saying!

    Delicious, homemade, authentic food. We tried the kielbasa, pierogi and Golobki (cabbage rolls) It was all so good. The cabbage slaw they make tastes delicious. And the homemade kielbasa (sausage) is amazing! We also tried the cheesecake and crepes - again great - very light and not too sweet. The homemade compote are delicious. Service was great, they are great at explaining what the food is, if you aren't used to polish food. My grandmother was polish and it reminded me of her cooking. We will definitely be returning!

    We ate here last night and it was delicious! Neither of us had ever had Polish food, but our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave us descriptions and offered suggestions. I got the cabbage roll and my husband got something else, which I can't remember the name of, but he said it was delicious. We will be back.
